Prior to owning a brick and mortar, I was a comfortable corporate employee in my 9 to 5 job. Leaving my work at the office and being able to TURN THINGS OFF. I was not aware of the small business community and their constant struggles, to create local traffic to their stores and brand. This is what keeps us up all night, that and our overhead costs.
This I learned first hand when we turned the key to our business in Burke, VA. Allow me to share with you the lessons learned, the choices I made out of instinct and how it takes a village to support a business. With a limited amount of time and budget, small businesses are continually challenged with finding new ways to grow their local brand.
